Spending my youth in Telluride opened up a world of opportunities. Learning to ski at an early age quickly fueled a passion for the mountains, family river trips sparked a desire to kayak, and countless summer days as a camper at Telluride Academy resulted in becoming an outdoor instructor. Handed a camera for my 14 th birthday and shortly thereafter landing a mentorship with the late photographer T.R Youngstrom inspired a dream of becoming a photographer. Attending MSU Bozeman studying photography, offered plenty of time to pursue skiing, kayaking, and photography. Spending a semester interning with adventure photographer Ace Kvale in Ophir was an incredible opportunity for learning. As a way to give back to a community that has given so much, I dedicate much of my time to the youth of Telluride as an instructor for the Telluride Academy, Telluride Kayak School, and as a Coach for the Telluride Ski Club's Big Mountain Program. As the seasons allow I spend my free time pursuing adventure and photography on a global scale. Recent trips/expeditions have brought me to the UK, Chile, Argentina, Peru, Mexico, Canada, India and Nepal. Yet there is still so much to explore!
